10-Year-Old Child Found Alive for a Week Trapped in the Ruins of the Turkish Earthquake

A 10-year-old girl named Ayca Ceplin was found alive after seven days trapped in rubble in the earthquake that rocked Turkey and Syria last week.
Reporting to CNN, the victim was found on Monday (13/2) local time. Ayca was pulled from the rubble of the Ebrar apartment complex in Kahramanmaras.

Meanwhile, rescuers promised a young girl strawberry milk and bagels after being pulled from the rubble in Adiyaman City. In a video shared by Turkey’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca on Twitter, rescuers can be seen placing oxygen masks on a young girl named Hivay.

The rescuers then promised to give the girl bagels and strawberry milk. Rescue teams have been working tirelessly to pull children and adults from the rubble one week after a strong earthquake hit Turkey and Syria.

Additionally, a man was rescued in Hatay. State news agency Anadolu reported the victim as Huseyin Berber.

The rescue operation took place on Mimar Sinan Road in Antakya. Berber was immediately taken to the hospital after being successfully evacuated. Berber Rescue follows the discovery of a 13-year-old boy in Hatay.
