Cardano Prepares to Launch Valentine Upgrade for Enhanced Security

Cardano, one of the leading blockchain platforms, has announced its long-awaited mainnet Valentine (SECP) upgrade. This upgrade aims to improve security for developers in cross-network decentralized application (DApp) development.

These enhancements include access to multiple multi-signature designs native to Cardano, significantly increasing security for DApp developers. The Cardano team has also informed us that the changes caused by the mainnet upgrade will have a very minimal impact.

In order to solidify its position as one of the most valued cryptocurrencies, Cardano has scheduled the launch of the Valentine SECP mainnet hard fork at the start of epoch 394 on February 14 at 21:44 UTC. This launch will take place at approximately the absolute slot height of 84844800, with an estimated block height of 8403208.

In the context of the crypto market which has recovered significantly since January 2023, Cardano (ADA) is recovering very well not only in terms of price but also in the interest of the whales or the largest holders of crypto. With the upgrade of the Valentine mainnet (SECP), Cardano will further strengthen its position as one of the leaders in the development of blockchain technology and decentralized applications.
