The Flash 2023 Trailer, Barry Allen Explores the Multiverse

The Flash released the first official trailer that was released before the Super Bowl event which was held on Sunday (12/2) US time. In the trailer, it is revealed the multiverse concept that is carried by Barry Allen aka The Flash, played by Ezra Miller.

The 2-minute 56-second trailer opens with a dialogue between Barry and Bruce Wayne, played by Ben Affleck. Bruce asks Barry why he lives in this world when he can go to any universe with his powers.

“Because this is the world my mother is in. I’m not going to lose her again,” Barry replied.

Barry began to describe the multiverses he could explore. He said that different worlds could be attracted to each other like a magnet. Until finally, he met Barry Allen from another universe.

However, Bruce Wayne warns Barry that there will be consequences if Barry time travels.
“I can fix something,” Barry said.
“But, you can also destroy things,” said Bruce.

What was feared happened, Barry, admitted that he had damaged the universe? People from other universes began to appear, including Zod from the film Man of Steel (2013) played by Michael Shannon.

However, not only villains appear in Barry’s world. He also gets Batman’s help. Not Ben Affleck’s Batman, but Michael Keaton’s version.

Michael Keaton’s Batman helps the two Barry Allen exterminate enemies from other universes. In fact, it is assisted by Kara aka Supergirl, played by Sasha Calle.

The Flash is directed by Argentinian director Andy Muschietti, brother of producer Barbara Muschietti.

The Flash still has Ezra Miller as Barry Allen aka The Flash, a DC Extended Universe (DCEU) superhero who joins the Justice League. The film also returns with Kiersey Clemons as Iris West.

Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton will play a role in this film, namely as their respective versions of Batman. The appearance of the Batmans cannot be separated from the multiverse concept promoted by The Flash.

On the other hand, this film also stars actors who will play iconic characters from the DC universe. Call it Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Michael Shannon as General Zod, to Antje Traue as Faora.

The Flash is slated for release on June 16, 2023.
